Hollow way from Offham village onto the downs

A deep hollow way leads up the scarp slope of the downs from Offham village onto Offham Hill. Site of the medieval Hospital

Looking east along Spittal Road, close to the site of the medieval hospital where burials believed to be from the battle were excavated recently. Nearby, close to the prison, is the site of the large mass grave discovered in the 19th century and presumed to be from the battle.
