Babes in the Woods: John of Gaunt and the Langley Family

Local author and historian, Sandy Wainwright will explore the story of the knightly de Langley family at the start of the fourteenth century, said to be the origin story to the Babes in the Woods pantomime.  Roger de Langley was orphaned as a child, his family fortunes changing only when they became fixtures within the newly established House of Lancaster.
